Radiology

Introduction

Currently DiagnosticReportRadiology is the profile which is implemented to expose information about radiology, there are two supporting profiles that are referenced in the main DiagnosticReportRadiology profile; ObservationRadiology and ServiceRequestRadiology. ObservationRadiology contains the results of the radiology report and ServiceRequestRadiology contains the radiology report request related information.

Included Profiles

The profiles used to represent radiology related information are the following:

• DiagnosticReportRadiology - used to retrieve a complete radiology report.

• ObservationRadiology - used to see results of a radiology report. It is used as an included profile in the DiagnosticReportRadiology profile.

• ServiceRequestRadiology - used to retrieve the request information of a radiology report, this is also used as an included profile in the DiagnosticReportRadiology but can also be used separately.

Use Cases

• Search for radiology reports by patient, report id and date range using DiagnosticReportRadiology.
