Introduction

The MedicationDispense resource is used to communicate information about medication dispensation for patients. The main use cases relates with communicating drug dispensations for a patient(inpatient or outpatient) between different systems. So mainly there will be involved a system that dispense the drugs and that system is sending information related to the dispensation to an EHR

• OncologyMedicationDispense - The OncologyMedicationDispense profile is used to send information of dispensed occassions of different drugs from oncology pharmacies.

• MedicationDispenseDoseDispensing - The MedicationDispenseDoseDispensing profile is used to send information of dispensed occassions which are dispensed from CanS system.
