CPHA Definition: Indicates the claim is for an extemporaneous compound that has not been included in the PIN listing. Code identifies type of compound and is mandatory for all compounds not identified by a PIN
Mapping discussion required - Anne to do with TWG I think this will nicely map into the item.code as this is what you are billing for. We have a value set with these codes of 0 through 9. In medication, the most active ingredient will be listed along with all other ingredients. This is not a separate field as you are indicating what the medication is. Note that in PrescribeIT, they would only populate the medication.code.text if/when a compound is prescribed. Same is true for the PrescribeIT Dispense Notificaiton; there is no code submitted. So I think this aligns well
