The Simplifier community is growing faster than ever. With thousands of FHIR projects and hundreds of thousands of shared resources, Simplifier.net has become the go-to platform for the world’s most forward-thinking healthcare organizations. At Firely, we’re committed to continually evolving our tools and services to meet the needs of our users.

That’s why, starting June 1st, we’re making some exciting updates to our Simplifier license plans — bringing more flexibility, more features, and a better experience for everyone.

🔄 Updates to the Entry Plan

Beginning June 1st, the Forge profile editor and the Implementation Guide (IG) editor will no longer be available under the Simplifier Entry Plan.

But there’s good news: Users who want to continue using these powerful tools can now opt in to our brand-new 60-day free trial of the Professional Plan — our most popular plan packed with the features serious modelers need.

We’ve also introduced:

  • A free trainer license for educators teaching Forge and Simplifier

  • Student vouchers so learners can follow along hands-on without barriers

🆕 Try the Full Experience – For Free

FHIR modeling can be complex. That’s why we’ve created a feature-rich, 60-day free trial to help more users experience the full power of Simplifier.

During your trial, you’ll be able to:

✅ Download and use Forge, the most user-friendly tool for creating FHIR profiles

✅ Create interactive implementation guides with the integrated IG Editor

✅ The new online FHIR resource editor with FSH support

✅ Run advanced quality control checks, or build your own validation rules

After the trial ends, you’ll still be able to upload, register, and publish resources and packages on Simplifier. But to keep using the full suite of integrated tools and services, upgrading to the Professional Plan is the best path forward.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 New: Show Your Organizational Affiliation

Collaboration drives interoperability. That’s why we now offer a new way to enhance your presence on Simplifier.

Even users on the Entry Plan can now:

🏢 Publicly associate themselves with an organization on their profile

📨 Share project updates and progress with colleagues and stakeholders

🛠️ Receive and manage feedback and issues from external users

This new functionality helps ensure that feedback loops are fast and meaningful—and that everyone is working from the same page. Plus, project owners can invite users to subscribe to updates, making community engagement even easier.
