We recently published the outcomes of the 2026 State of FHIR Survey. You may now also explore the individual country-specific results here on Simplifier.net.

For each participating country or jurisdiction, you'll find a concise overview of how HL7 FHIR is currently being adopted and implemented, based on insights provided by national experts.

The summaries cover topics such as:

  • Current FHIR adoption and implementation status
  • FHIR versions in use
  • National regulations and implementation guides
  • Successful use cases
  • Key challenges and opportunities
  • Emerging topics such as AI and the FHIR Community Process (FCP)

Explore the interactive map

The easiest way to access the country summaries is through the interactive world map on the Simplifier.net homepage. Simply click on any participating country to view its dedicated jurisdiction page and discover how FHIR is evolving in that part of the world.

The 2026 edition includes 101 responses from experts representing 63 countries, making it the most comprehensive overview of global FHIR adoption published to date.

Looking for the global picture?

The jurisdiction pages provide the local perspective. If you're interested in the broader trends, read my analysis of the 2026 survey results on the blog I posted on www.fire.ly.
