Map the administration to the Encounter in which it took place. partOf can link it to a Procedure or a larger administration event when that relationship exists in the source. A Procedure is useful only if it records a separate clinical action; do not create one solely to repeat the administration. reasonReference can connect a documented Condition or Observation when the source establishes the reason.

The current profile closes request, so it cannot directly point to a MedicationRequest. Do not manufacture an order-to-administration reference from a shared patient and date. For example, an analgesic prescribed at one visit is a MedicationRequest; a dose administered at the clinic is a separate MedicationAdministration linked to its Encounter.
