This Forge update is primarily focused on workflow improvements.

  • The Create new FHIR Project Folder wizard allows you to set the parent folder for your FHIR projects, enter a project name and initialize project settings. The core package will be added automatically to your new project. The selected preferred file format is now consistently applied as the default file filter when opening and saving files.

  • The Project Settings dialog is available when you want to change settings for your project.

  • Projects with large dependencies load faster and you can now change the version of a package dependency without having to remove it first. Just search for the package, select a version and click Add.

  • Recent Documents has been split into Recent Files and Recent Projects.

Other improvements include:

  • In addition to XML output preview for your resource file, JSON is now supported too.

The color scheme has been updated and canonical URLs can be clicked to open the associated resource either in Forge if the resource can be resolved in the context of your project or the URL is opened in your web browser.

  • Many bugs have been fixed.
