Welcome to the NZ FHIR Registry, the national home for locally-produced HL7® FHIR® artefacts.
The registry supports FHIR API development for:
- National Health Index (NHI), Health Provider Index (HPI), National Immunisation Solution (NIS) and other national digital services
- Hira, the national health information platform
- Te Aho o Te Kahu | Cancer Control Agency projects
- NZ International Patient Summary (NZIPS).
The FHIR NZ Base implementation guide is also published here.
The Sandbox project is the place to learn how to use the registry, while the Community Content project is where you can share your work and collaborate with others. We invite all software developers to get involved.
Email standards@health.govt.nz to request your free account – limited to three per organisation initially.
