FQL is a query language that allows you to retrieve, filter and project data from any data source containing FHIR Resources. It brings the power of three existing languages together: SQL, JSON and FhirPath. It allows you to create tables and is useful for gaining insight and perform quality control.

NPCR_Unclear_Biopsy
Extension to record whether both targeted and systematic biopsies were taken but cannot be distinguished in the PAD-utlåtande (pathology report), per NPCR Variabelbeskrivning variable D_OklarBiopsi (Både riktade och systematiska biopsier har tagits men separata svar saknas i PAD-utlåtandet).
Source variable: D_OklarBiopsi
- Datatyp: Lista (0/1/98)
- Listvärden: 0 = Nej, 1 = Ja, 98 = Uppgift saknas
- Teknisk giltighetstid: 2014-01-21 -
- Obligatorisk: Ja (when D_Vavn = 1)
- Beteende/logik: D_Vavn = 1 → D_OklarBiopsi = synlig OCH obligatorisk
Validering rules (Variabelbeskrivning Beteende/logik):
- Villkor 1: When Primär and Sekundär Gleasongrad are completed for both targeted and systematic biopsies, D_OklarBiopsi defaults to Nej
- Villkor 2: When only one of (targeted, systematic) is Ja and the other is Nej, D_OklarBiopsi defaults to Nej
This extension is bound to Procedure as its only context, specifically intended for use on NPCRBiopsyProcedure instances.
Data type: code, bound (required) to NPCRBiopsyFlagCodes ValueSet. This shared ValueSet is also used by extensions NPCR_Targeted_Biopsy and NPCR_Systematic_Biopsy.
Information model note: D_OklarBiopsi reflects a data-quality situation rather than a distinct clinical technique — it exists because pathology reports (PAD) sometimes aggregate findings without distinguishing targeted vs systematic samples. This flag governs how subsequent biopsy results variables (D_AntOklarBiop, D_OklarBiopCa, D_OklarBiopLangd, D_OklarBiopmmcancer) are populated in NPCRBiopsyResultsObservation.
Terminology binding rationale: NPCR documentation does not provide an international code system binding. The extension uses the NPCRBiopsyFlag CodeSystem (0/1/98) to preserve NPCR's internal coded values.
