FQL is a query language that allows you to retrieve, filter and project data from any data source containing FHIR Resources. It brings the power of three existing languages together: SQL, JSON and FhirPath. It allows you to create tables and is useful for gaining insight and perform quality control.

NPCR_Targeted_Biopsy
Extension to record whether MRI-targeted biopsies were performed, per NPCR Variabelbeskrivning variable D_RiktBiopsi (Riktade biopsier efter MRT).
Source variable: D_RiktBiopsi
- Datatyp: Lista (0/1/98)
- Listvärden: 0 = Nej, 1 = Ja, 98 = Uppgift saknas
- Teknisk giltighetstid: 2013-04-27 -
- Obligatorisk: Ja (when D_Vavn = 1)
- Beteende/logik: D_Vavn = 1 → D_RiktBiopsi = obligatorisk. At least one of D_RiktBiopsi, D_SystBiopsi, D_OklarBiopsi must equal 1 (clinical rule: some biopsy type must have been taken).
This extension is bound to Procedure as its only context, specifically intended for use on NPCRBiopsyProcedure instances.
Data type: code, bound (required) to NPCRBiopsyFlagCodes ValueSet. This ValueSet is shared with extensions NPCR_Systematic_Biopsy and NPCR_Unclear_Biopsy because all three variables share the identical 0/1/98 Listvärden pattern in NPCR Variabelbeskrivning.
Terminology binding rationale: NPCR documentation does not provide an international code system binding for this Lista variable. The extension uses the NPCRBiopsyFlag CodeSystem (0/1/98) to preserve NPCR's internal coded values.
Relationship to NPCRMRIProcedure: This extension indicates that MRI-targeted biopsies were performed (as opposed to systematic or unclear biopsies). The actual MRI procedure itself is modelled as a separate NPCRMRIProcedure resource (via D_BiopMR, D_MRdatum). The targeted biopsy technique (cognitive, fusion, in-bore) is captured in a separate extension NPCR_Targeted_Biopsy_Technique, conditional on this extension = Ja.
