KINDL

Kiddy-KINDL

The KIDDY-KINDL is a questionnaire used to assess the quality of life in preschool-aged children (3–6 years old). It consists of age-appropriate items, typically completed by parents or caregivers, that measure various dimensions of a child's well-being, including physical health, emotional well-being, social relationships, and daily activities. Responses are scored on a Likert scale, usually ranging from 1 to 5, where higher scores indicate better quality of life. The total score is calculated by summing up the responses and is evaluated to provide insight into the child’s overall well-being.

Questionnaire

Kid-KINDL

The KID-KINDL is designed for children aged 7–13 years to self-report their quality of life. It covers dimensions such as physical health, emotional well-being, self-esteem, family relationships, friends, and school environment. It consists of 24 items. The total score is the sum of the responses, yielding a range that reflects the child’s perceived quality of life, with higher scores indicating better outcomes.

Questionnaire

Kiddo-KINDL

The KIDDO-KINDL is aimed at adolescents aged 14–17 years and assesses their quality of life through self-reporting. Similar to the KID-KINDL, it includes 24 items across dimensions like physical health, emotional well-being, self-esteem, family relationships, social relationships, and school environment. The total score is calculated by summing the item scores, and higher scores reflect better perceived quality of life.

Questionnaire

KINDL-Elternversion

The KIDDY-KINDL is typically filled out by parents or caregivers rather than the preschool-aged children themselves (3–6 years old). Children in this age group may lack the cognitive and language skills to reliably self-report their quality of life. Thus, a parent version of the KINDL is also included within the GPDS.
