This profile represents an episode of care which essentially allows to a specific doctor to group together all the encounters with all the related visit summaries, laboratory and imaging results and referrals that are created to serve the medical needs of a specific medical case for a patient. Every encounter is created under a specific episode of care which can be one of the existing active episodes of care or a new one. The doctors are totally free to organize the episodes of care of a specific patient the way suits their medical practice the best.
