Admissions

This category contains the registration of all daycare and clinical admissions. This category contains the overarching admission information; one admission can consist of multiple admission periods at for example different departments (ICU > MCU > Cardiology).

Of note: in NL & BE, admissions can also be 1 day admissions that last < 24 hours, e.g. short admissions before small procedures such as medication administration, routine surgeries such as cataract surgery, or short admission to perform PET scan with contrast.
