Finnish PHR Medication Profiles define medication that is being consumed or otherwise being administered by the citizen himself.

The medication profiles defined in this Finnish PHR Implementation Guide constrain and extend FHIR® Medication Administration and FHIR® Medication Statement resources.

Finnish PHR Medication Administration Profile describes the event of a patient consuming or otherwise being administered a medication.

Finnish PHR Medication Statement Profile describes a record of a medication that is being consumed by a patient. A medication statement may indicate that the patient may be taking the medication now, or has taken the medication in the past or will be taking the medication in the future.
