dom-2: If the resource is contained in another resource, it SHALL NOT contain nested Resources contained.contained.empty()
dom-1: If the resource is contained in another resource, it SHALL NOT contain any narrative contained.text.empty()
dom-4: If a resource is contained in another resource, it SHALL NOT have a meta.versionId or a meta.lastUpdated contained.meta.versionId.empty() and contained.meta.lastUpdated.empty()

VKP uses the standard resource for EpisodeOfCare.

EpisodeOfCare is used for retrieving information from the EHR on active services for a given patient or from a set of patients. The response can also include patient information if requested.

Search parameters and return values

The server is expected to return a set of one or more EpisodeOfCare resources as a Bundle. If requested the Bundle will also include vkp-Patient resources. If an error occurs an OperationOutcome resource should be returned.
