Profiles

This page gives a summary to the profiles created, their purpose and how they relate to eachother. If you are new to the concept of FHIR profiles, please refer to How to read profiles before you read this page.

Relationship to logical information model

The image below summarizes the resources and data types which are central in this IG. It also describes the relationships between the resources. FHIR_intyg

Each resource (FHIR profile) has a mapping to the corresponding class in the information model for health certificate base information (link). The mapping can be explained on a high level in the table below. The FHIR profile names are clickable links to each profile page that gives more information about the specific profile.

FHIR profile Name in information model
SHCQuestionnaire Intygsformulär
SHCQuestionnaireResponse Intyg
SHCPractitioner Medarbetare
SHCPractitionerRole Yrkesutövare
SHCHealthCertificateSubject Person
SHCOrganizationalUnit Organisatorisk enhet
SHCOrganization Organisation

Some classes in the information model does not have a mapping to their own FHIR profiles but are rather included as attributes within another FHIR profile. This is true for e.g. "Intygssektion" or "Fråga" which in FHIR are attributes inside the FHIR profile SHCQuestionnaire.

Summary of the FHIR profiles joint purposes

When a health certificate is to be filled in by the issuer, the data needed in the certificate is entered (automatically or manually) as answers to questions in some type of form. This is the health certificate form (Swedish: Intygsformulär) and is represented with the SHCQuestionnaire profile.

When this form has been filled in, both with answers to questions but also with other appropriate data, such as date, author and the certificate subject this is represented with the SHCQuestionnaireResponse profile.

The author and the health certificate subject are referenced from the filled in form (QuestionnaireResponse) and structured on the FHIR profiles SHCPractitionerRole and SHCHealthCertificateSubject. The SHCPractitionerRole consitutes of a SHCOrganizationalUnit and a SHCPractitioner. The SHCOrganizationalUnit belongs to a SHCOrganization.
