This Implementation Guide provides guidance on the FHIR Bundle construction for the Ambulance Data Set (ADS) pilot project. More information about the project can be found at NHS England: Ambulance Data Set.
The ADS FHIR Bundle development is currently using a phased approach as below:
This Implementation Guide currently supports all the development phases up to the Bundle 2 development phase, so it will replace any existing Implementation Guides for the previous development phases. It will include a later release to support the EPR development phase and any other future development activity.
Important Note:
These FHIR profiles have been developed in FHIR R4, and are derived FHIR profiles based on the UK Core. These profiles will be uplifted to use FHIR profiles from Version 2 of the UK Core in a future release. This change will include a new URL format to be applied to all FHIR assets included in this guide.
