Extensions
This version of the PS-CA Implementation Guide has been superseded by a newer version. Other releases of the PS-CA Implementation Guide may be found on a table on the Home Page of this Project.
The profiles in this specification make use of the extensions that are maintained by external specifications, notably extensions published by IPS-UV and the CA Baseline.
These extensions are socialized to ensure that if the data is available (and appropriate) to include in a patient summary, that the modeling of that data will be consistent.
Note: Implementors should be aware of known issues that the Simplifier tool has for rendering extensions.
- Extensions on elements with choice of data type will not render in the differential when displayed in Simplifier. In these cases the extension will be called out.
