Known Issues

  1. Blood Pressure datatype and obligations: For component:SystolicBP.valueQuantity and component:DiastolicBP.valueQuantity, Simplifier may display the original value[x] datatype choices even though the inherited profile restricts the value to Quantity. Obligations may also appear on separate rows rather than alongside the corresponding Quantity elements. These display differences do not change the intended datatype restriction or obligation requirements. Consult the generated JSON/XML.
  2. Inherited obligations:: There is a simplifier rendering issue when there are additional obligation codes in the child profile (e.g. Appointment.created). The workaround is to display multiple obligations in a single row.
  3. Capability Statement: Some links in the CapabilityStatement may be broken. This is due to a display issue in Simplifier so the IGPublisher version of HTML is being used.
  4. Additional Bindings: Some additional bindings are not showing in the treeview. They are in the JSON and XML files. This is due to a display issue in Simplifier.
  5. Mime Types: The binding to mime types is unlimited, however when following links in the implementation guide, Simplifier navigates to an Ontario-defined subset. This is an error in Simplifier behavior where it navigates to an available subset because it doesn't have a list of all codes. (There is no source listing all mime codes.)
  6. Obligations on child slices: Simplifier may show obligations on child slices even when none are explicitly defined on those slices. These propagate from the parent element, for example, from Radiology Observation component to its component slices. Consult the generated JSON/XML.
  7. Element descriptions: This is more of a generic Simplifier rendering issue - Simplifier display the PCareCodeableConcept datatype’s short description and definition instead of the element-specific descriptions inherited from CA Core+ (e.g. Pathology Observation category). This display issue does not change the element’s intended meaning or constraints.
  8. ValueSet links: Some ValueSet canonical links do not resolve from the terminology page but work when accessed through a profile’s binding. For example, the required binding on P-Care Immunization extension[marketAuthorizationHolder].value[x] points to https://fhir.infoway-inforoute.ca/ValueSet/immunizationmarketauthorizationholdercode. If the terminology-page link does not resolve, access the ValueSet through the profile’s binding link.
