Un Producto Comercial Con Envase (PCCE) es un producto envasado que se suministra para el uso directo del paciente. Puede contener o más componentes, cada uno de los cuales pueden, o no, ser un PCCE individual.
Un PCCE contiene información relativa a un medicamento que ha sido puesto a disposición por el fabricante y/o proveedor como una entidad envasada. Este concepto es equivalente al concepto Especialidad Farmacéutica del Reglamento del Sistema Nacional de Control de los Productos Farmacéuticos de Uso Humano: producto farmacéutico registrado que se presenta en envase uniforme y característico, condicionado para su uso y designado con nombre genérico u otra denominación.
