Introduction
This implementation guide is published by the Swedish eHealth Agency and constitutes the integration specification for restricting data sharing and permitting proxy actions using the HL7 FHIR standard. The APIs described in this guide ensure that all participating systems exchange restriction and permission information in a predictable and interoperable way.
Scope and Usage
The artifacts and transactions in this guide has been designed to meet two use cases - making it possible for patients to restrict data sharing on a local and central level as well as permit proxies to perform certain actions using powers of attorney. Furthermore this guide defines the possibility of querying what proxies are permitted to do on behalf of a patient, which can be based on a power of attorney among other legal grounds.
These use cases are categorized in interoperability domains that are made up of system actors and the transactions between them. The interoperability domains are introduced in the sub sections below.
Restrictions (RE)
See restrictions actor descriptions.
Power of attorney (POA)
See power of attorney actor descriptions.
Proxy permission service (PS)
