Profiles

The profiles in this guide are used to hold information about organizations and the endpoints they use as well as the API specifications that the endpoints implement.

• ActorDefinition - API Specification: This profile holds information about a set of capabilities defined in an API specification.
• Endpoint: This profile holds information about a technical address to an API.
• Organization: This profile is used to hold information about organizations that can use endpoints to make data available.

The diagram below illustrates the content of the profiles and how they relate to one another. The Organization profile has a reference to the Endpoint profile. The Endpoint profile contains an extension in the payload element that references the API Specification profile.
