Usage

The profile contains seven elements: identifier, status, medication, subject, effective, performer, and dosage. The element identifier contains a patient ID to ensure a connection to the correct patient. The element status is mandatory and is set to registered. The element medication contains a reference to the profile Medication. The element subject contains a reference to the profile Patient. The element effective ensures a timestamp for each medication administration. The element performer contains a reference to the profile Practitioner. The element dosage defines how the medication is administered to the patient and therefore, it contains the subelements dose, rate, and method. The subelement method is sliced into two slices to exemplify two routes of administration for medication.
