Artifact Status Summary

This page provides a snapshot of the current artifacts included in this version of the CA Core+ Implementation Guide. It includes profiles, extensions, and terminology artifacts (e.g., value sets and code systems), along with their current draft status.

These tables are generated using FHIR Query Language (FQL) and reflect the current state of artifacts included in this guide based on all those in the Simplifier project. Artifact statuses may evolve over time as the guide progresses toward a future Ballot release. Some of these resources may not have pages attached to them in FHIR Artifacts as they are still early in their development.

Resource Profiles

This table lists the resource profiles defined in this guide. Resource profiles constrain base FHIR resources (like Patient, Observation, or Encounter) to reflect pan-Canadian requirements or practices. These profiles serve as the foundation for representing clinical and administrative data in a consistent way. More details on each can be found under the FHIR Artifacts tab in the menu bar.

Both RelatedPerson and Person were included in CA Core+ 1.0.0 and removed in 1.1.0 due to their immaturity in the Pan-Canadian Landscape. They will be reevaluated for inclusion in future CA Core+ cycles.

TitleDescriptionStatusCanonical
Task (CA-Core eReC)

This profile applies constraints to the Task resource for CA Core+ to support workflow coordination and task assignment in the pan-Canadian context. In the future, it is likely that this implementation guide will support many types of Task for different use cases. This profile is based on the CA:eReC Task, and is therefore limited to that specific use case. In future additional Task profiles will be added for other use cases.
