Examples

The following examples have been developed for this release of the specification:

Bundle

Bundle 1 Example: This example shows how the Bundle resource is used to encase the Composition resource and any resources referenced by the Composition that also need to be included as bundle entries (e.g., Patient, Practitioner, PractitionerRole, Condition, MedicationRequest, AllergyIntollerance, etc.)

Composition

Composition 1 Example: This example shows a PS-CA Composition that includes the minimum required sections to produce a compliant PS-CA Composition.

AllergyIntolerance

Cashew Coded Allergy Example: This example shows a coded allergy and reaction.manifestation from SNOMED CT-CA. This example also demonstrates how multiple codings can be provided for elements like verificationStatus (when the producing system wants to preserve the original coding/supply additional details).

Free Text Allergy Example: This example shows a minimalistic (but profile-compliant) AllergyIntolerance resource that only supplies a text value.

Condition

Heart Condition Example: This example shows a coded condition, severity and bodysite with codes from SNOMED CT-CA.

MedicationRequest

Nystatin CCDD MedicationRequest Example: This example shows a MedicationRequest with a codeableConcept medication with a code from the CCDD Value Set.

Simvastatin ATC MedicationRequest Example: This example shows a MedicationRequest with a codeableConcept medication with a code from the WHO ATC value set.

Immunization

Immunization Example: This example shows coded immunization data for a vaccine within a series. It also includes modeling of a contained performing practitioner.

Patient

Patient 1 Example: This example shows a patient with a JHN (jurisdictional health number) identifier type that is the subject of the Composition 1 Example and its referenced resources.

Other Examples needed for the Bundle

The following examples show resources referenced from the Composition header as well as from within the clinical examples and included in the Bundle example.

PractitionerRole 1 Example
