Intended Audience

The intended audiences of this document are business and technical implementers of

• Pharmacy Management Systems who are interested in contributing dispensed drug and pharmacy service information to the DHDR

• Hospital Information Systems who are interested in contributing administered drug information to the DHDR

• DHDR viewing applications and systems that are interested in querying the DHDR to display information for health care providers
  

The readers are expected to have an understanding of the fundamentals of HL7 FHIR and the RESTful paradigm, and of the business and technical requirements for contributing and querying dispensed drug and pharmacy service information to/from the DHDR.
