DwMedicationAdministration

Purpose

The purpose of this resource is to record the consumption or administration of medication by a patient. This resource captures the recording of all types of medications and injections administered to a patient in the care settings - inpatient, outpatient, and at home.

  • Inpatient settings can include - self-administrations of oral medications, injections, intra-venous adjustments.
  • Outpatient settings can include - allergy shots and other non-immunization administrations.
