Project Phases
The project was split into two phases with a roadmap to the desired future state.
Phase 1
Manual entry of CorHealth data using a new web application that converts the eneterd data into FHIR resources and preserves these in the FHIR repository.
Phase 2
Hospital inofrmation systems use interface engines to electronically submit data to CorHealth as HL7v2 messages which get converted into FHIR resources by the FHIR server.
This phase was initially planned to be implemented in 2021/2022 but got deferred

Future State Systems and Data Flow
In the future state, hospital inofrmation systems and other provinicial systems would be able to utilize their own FHIR server instances to submit and retrieve FHIR resources to and from the CorHealth registry.
