Background

NICE R&S aims to simplify the registration, submission and exchange of NICE data by means of using healthcare information standards for data exchange. The implementation and use of NICE FHIR profiles should contribute to creating a standardized working process in exchanging data between the NICE registry and participating hospitals. Another strategic goal is to participate in other national initiatives like the Personal Health Train, which would increase the frequency of submissions by automating them, lightening the administrative burden in health care.
