Resources
In order to encode the Lung Diagnosis Pathway decision points, the FHIR Workflow Module was ued to share information, state or relationsships between systems. This proof on concept is also based on the used of a shared health care record for the patient. While not all resources represented in the the figure below have been used, it presents a highl level overview of the various resources and their realtionships in the context of work-flow execution.
The resources that were used were:

ServiceRequests - record of a request for a procedure or diagnostic or other service to be planned, proposed, or performed
Observation - contains data that can be used to trigger next activity relevant to patient record
DocumentReference - Used to contain any related non-FHIR artifacts that may have been collected data related to patient
