Abbreviations

Acronym Meaning Definition
APIM API Management Concerned with the delivery of APIs. APIM can help provide clear documentation, accessible test environments, a simple onboarding process and good quality help and support.
NME New Market Entrant In this context a new clinical system that allows patients to access their medical record and update certain preferences.
PFS Patient Facing Service A service (often an API) a patient can interact with via an application such as NHS App. Typically offering data, services and information specifically about and or for the authenticated patient.
