Clinical and Technical Assurance Sprint 7 Documentation Pack

Purpose

The purpose of this pack is to provide guidance documentation for stakeholders involved in the UK Core Clinical and Technical Assurance (C&TA) process. The audiences for this documentation are internal NHS England programmes, external stakeholders and implementation sites using FHIR specifications. It is assumed that the reader has a basic understanding of HL7 FHIR (R4 version).

Pack Structure

This pack contains the guidance and reference material required to participate in the C&TA process. The content of the UK Core to be reviewed is contained in the UK Core Implementation Guide STU3 Sequence. Items are indexed by C&TA Sprints and the scope of this sprint is items marked accordingly.

Background

This sprint involves creating a review pack for external consultation, including a first draft of mapping by the UK Core Development team, which is published to the external community for a review period of 15 working days.

Documentation is available online for the Clinical and Technical Assurance process. The documentation will give background information to allow the reader to take part in the C&TA process.
