Why not use meta.profile?
Historically, meta.profile
has been, with a URL to a FHIR server to aid the validation of a profile against a certain ruleset.
This specification favours the usage of packages over profile validation using meta.profile
, since it is easier to maintain, plus has the additional benefit of version management, meaning an individual package can be locked to a specific version of this, or other capabilities.
