Profiles
The following FHIR Profiles represent to building blocks used to create the CraNE CCCN lung cancer patient pathway. They conists of the CraNE CCCN Pathway profile which acts as top level container for possible pathway strategies. Stategies can be used to represent different manifestations of the patient pathway according to commonly agreed on or recommended treatment guidelines. The CraNE CCCN Pathway Process Flow profile represents the flow-based (and only) pathway strategy according to the BPMN model of the lung cancer patient pathway. A strategy consists of activities, e.g. diagnostic or treatment measures, which are arranged in a specific order according to the BPMN model. Those activities are represented using the CraNE CCCN Pathway Activity. An activity might require clinical information to be performed or yield clinical information as result. The CraNE CCCN Pathway Document Object Requirement and CraNE CCCN Pathway Document Object are used to represent such input or output requirements. To provide a statement regarding the quality of the activities performed by a CCCN between the admission and discharge of a patient, quality indicators are defined using the CraNE CCCN Quality Indicator Definition profile and reported as part of an activity using the CraNE CCCN Report Quality Indicator Definition profile.
