Unitdose bottle : Metadon

Methadon treats severe, chronic pain. It is often prescribed when other treatment options have not worked well enough or cannot be tolerated. It works by blocking pain signals in the brain. It may also be used to treat opioid use disorder.

This example shows a medication with bottle as primary packageitem type. It is used as unit dose medication, however the source systems cannot identify if the medicine is used as unit dose or multidose medication. Presentation strength mg/bottle is used, and will be part of the ingredient information in later release of the DMP FHIR-service.
