BC Organization FHIR Profile for Patient Summary:

PS-CA is using the Canadian Baseline Organization Profile.

In BC, we have Organization FHIR Profile provided by BC Provider Location Registry. There is only one difference between PLR and Canada Baseline in Organization Profile:

  • Name: For the Canadian Baseline, this element is (0..*) but PLR needs at least one Name (1..*). Canadian Baseline (S) indicates it must be supported. Since it is always available in BC PLR Organization Profile, BC can always provide this element.
