##  Decedent Transportation Role

**Decedent Transportation Role** is a profile of the [FHIR STU3 Observation](http://www.hl7.org/fhir/observation.html) resource. It is used to convey information regarding role of the decedent – driver, passenger, pedestrian – with relation to a transportation injury event. It is only used with an {{pagelink: injuryincident }} in which the transportation event indicator is true.
