Basisprofil for Norwegian Practitioner information. Defined by The Norwegian Directorate of eHealth an HL7 Norway. Should be used as a basis for further profiling in use-cases where specific identity information is needed. The basis profile is open, but derived profiles should restrict furhter the information elements according to specification relevant to the use-case.

## The HER-id and Practitioner

The Practitioners registered in adresseregisteret uses the HERid for addressing. The HERid should not be assigned directrly on a practitioner but on a healthcare-service communication party (kommunikasjonspart) registered on the practitioners organization. We are suggesting using a special profile of HealthcareService to implement this. The documentation can be found in the repository for
