Introduction

The Location resource, shown in the profile NLLPharmacyLocation , represents a pharmacy.

The profile is used in two different scenarios:

  • to address a prescription, NLLMedicationRequest, to a specific pharmacy. This is required when prescribing to a patient who does not have a Swedish personal identity number (sv: personnummer).
  • in NLLMultiDoseDispensingBasis (sv: dosunderlag) to represent the pharmacy that produces the multi dose dispense bags.

This resource is allways a contained resource and it is therefore not possible to fetch or change a location (pharmacy) independently from the resource it is bound to.
