This is an HL7 FHIR® Implementation Guide (IG) describing how to export the medication list to FM (Forskrivningsmodulen/Prescription Module) in order to update the patient’s list of medication in RF (Reseptformidleren/National Prescription Database).
See below for an overview of available sections in this IG.
The KULE project has the task of implementing an electronic charting system in Helse Vest. The system, which accompanies the patient from admission to discharge, is delivered by Meona. The current solution imports medication lists from different sources and reconciles the medications for use during the care episode for the patient. Upon discharge a similar functionality is required, i.e. export of medication list to FM (Forskrivningsmodulen/Prescription Module) in order to update the patient’s list of medication in RF (Reseptformidleren/National Prescription Database).
This new integration will be based on the FHIR standards framework created by HL7 using a REST based web service. The main intentions for applying the HL7 FHIR standard is to increase the interoperability between clinical systems applying HL7 based interfaces and to leverage all the work done by HL7 providing documentation, examples and best practices for implementing the HL7 FHIR standard.
This section lists the FHIR profiles, extensions, and valuesets utilised by this IG.
This section describes the FHIR extensions that have been defined as part of this IG.
This section describes the ValueSets defined by this IG, with all of them coming from volven.no.
This section describes how can a developer get started with implementing FHIR.
This Implementation Guide is a work-in-progress and its future location is subject to change.
