Clients communicating directly with the Smart4Health platform using the SDK can retrieve the user ID associated with an account. Since it is a unique identifier for the account user, it can be used as a business identifier for referring to that user in FHIR resources. For this purpose, the namespace URL given above should be used. For instance, if the user is the subject of an Observation, the user ID could be used as follows:
