Intended Audience

The intended audience for the Provenance Implementation Guide (IG) would primarily be technical professionals involved in the design, development, and implementation of health data systems within Ontario Health. This includes:

• Developers and Architects: Those responsible for building and integrating systems that interact with health data, particularly concerning FHIR resources and data ingestion into the Clinical Data Repository.

• Data Engineers and Analysts: Professionals who manage, process, and analyze health data, requiring an understanding of data lineage and quality.

• System Integrators: Individuals or teams responsible for connecting various healthcare IT systems.

• Policy and Governance Teams: While not directly implementing, they would need to understand the technical underpinnings to establish and enforce data governance policies related to provenance.
