Introduction to HL7 India Profiles
The India Core Implementation Guide is based on FHIR Version R4 and defines the minimum conformance requirements for accessing patient data. It covers various profiles based on resources mentioned in NDHB.
Must Support definition
Any element marked as must support should be supported by both receiver and sender. Sender: if data is available must populate element receiver: if data element is populated, must parse or must not ignore it

HL7 India have defined some extension for their specific use cases.
