Sequence Diagram for UC-01: Create and Submit Document

Scenario: A Clinical Solution submits a document to a central Clinical Data Repository.

Assumption: The document will be stored in the Clinical Data Repository.

This sequence diagram illustrates how the CA:FeX Interoperability Specifications support the submission of documents to a central Clinical Data Repository. It involves two primary actors: the Data Source and the Data Recipient. The sequence diagram demonstrates the use of the CA:FeX-1A ‘Submit FHIR Document’ transaction. It shows how standardized system actors interact through defined transactions, and the expected order of operations when executing UC-01: Create and Submit Document as outlined in the CA:FeX Specification.
