### Finnish PHR Blood Pressure Profile

Finnish PHR profile for FHIR® Observation used in blood pressure measurements. The profile is based on the  [Finnish PHR Vital Signs Base profile](VitalSignsBaseProfile "Finnish PHR Vital Signs Base profile").

**The Finnish PHR Blood Pressure Profile constrains the Finnish PHRVital Signs Base Profile as follows**:

- *Observation.code*: 
    - *Coding.code* fixed to value 55284-4 (Blood pressure), only fixed value SHALL be used 
- *Observation.value*: removed, not needed (the values are given in the components of the Observation)
- *Observation.component*: Blood pressure measurement has two component observations (Systolic and Diastolic). These component observations are expressed as separate code value pairs that share the same attributes.This element introduces a set of two slices, one for systolic blood pressure and one for diastolic blood pressue.
    - slice 1: systolic
        - *Observation.component.code*: 
            - *coding.code* fixed to value 8480-6 (Systolic blood pressure), only fixed value SHALL be used
        - *Observation.componen.valueQuantity*: 
            - *system* fixed to value http://unitsofmeasure.org, set to mandatory
            - *unit* fixed to value mm[Hg], only fixed value SHALL be used, set to mandatory
            - *code* fixed to value mm[Hg], only fixed value SHALL be used, set to mandatory
            - *value* set to mandatory
        - *Observation.component.dataAbsentReason*: removed, not needed
    - slice 2: diastolic
        - *Observation.component.code*: 
            - *Coding.code* fixed to value 8462-4 (Diastolic blood pressure), only fixed value SHALL be used
        - *Observation.componen.valueQuantity*: 
            - *system* fixed to value http://unitsofmeasure.org, set to mandatory
            - *unit* fixed to value mm[Hg], only fixed value SHALL be used, set to mandatory
            - *code* fixed to value mm[Hg], only fixed value SHALL be used, set to mandatory
