## Devices with Multiple UDIs PoCD devices must support UDI across devices that scale from very simple to very complex, as well as fixed configurations and dynamically (during option) additionl / removal of components. In the more complex cases, a single device configuration may have multiple UDIs associated with the overall device and then with subsystems (even at a sensor level). It is important that UDI information be captured in a single FHIR resource - namely Device. The following diagrams illustrate how to formalize UDI information as related to the general model presented below in {{pagelink:Profiles}}. **Diagram #1** A device with a single UDI covering all subcomponents. {{render:Single UDI.png}} **Diagram #2** A modular device with additional UDI at VMD level. {{render:Two UDIs.png}} **Diagram #3** A modular device with additional UDIs at VMD and Channel level. {{render:Three UDIs.png}}
